A topographic survey is key to any project to establish accurate ground levels and the area available for positioning your waterscape feature.

The excavation of trial holes will indentify soil conditions and water table to enable our engineers to calculate volumes and value of the required design.

The soil conditions and water table will also determine whether or not your waterscape requires lining or reworked clay sealing.

BGS Surveys carried out to determine the suitability of the ground for the installation of bore holes to enable the filling of lakes or ponds, or for running irrigation systems reducing water costs.

Negotiations with the Environment Agency / Local Authorities to secure abstraction licenses and planning permission etc.

Design & Consultancy

Our qualified engineering surveyors utilising ‘state of the art’ GPS and robotic technology as well as sophisticated geometrics’ software enable us to deliver a complete design service.

From the collection of survey data in the field, we can interpret our customers’ requirements and turn them into a precise and cost efficient design to produce drawings for planning, quantities and ultimately setting out information on the ground or to our automated machinery.

Note: Finally the project package is quantified and a detailed valuation is presented to the client, costs for the above services are chargeable, but should we be commissioned to carry out your project these costs would be negotiated into the total contract sum.

Using the latest technology and equipment, operated by professional and certificated operators, we will construct your design into reality.

The utmost attention and consideration is given to the construction methods regarding Health and Safety and to minimise the disruption to the neighbouring environment whilst achieving our client’s expectations.

With the option of GPS or LASER controlled equipment the transformation from conception to completion can be positioned and constructed to pin point accuracy.

We are constantly striving to update our equipment and stay ahead of the competition and offer you the best possible service at the most competitive prices.

Lake & Pond Liner features
  • Design and build of suitable aeration and filtration systems to keep water clean and healthy.
  • Pumping and water features designed and built.
  • Irrigation systems, landscaping and automatic lighting systems also designed and installed by experienced and qualified professionals.

Lake & pond liners are used where porous soil or a low level water table exists to prevent the loss of water. Liner materials enable projects where liquid loss is often a major concern..

The most commonly used membranes for lining ponds, lakes and lagoons are polyethylene’s high (HDPE) or low density (LDPE), Liner thickness’s ranges from 0.3mm to 2.00mm.

Liners are guaranteed to withstand the harsh effects of nature, these materials can withstand extreme UV exposures, and also the liners can withstand other weather conditions such as high heat levels and below freezing conditions.

All liners come with a guarantee, this will vary on the liner thickness and all our liners are laboratory tested.

Lake & Pond Liner features
  • Environmental friendly
  • High puncture resistance
  • Withstands extreme hot/cold weather fluctuations
  • High strength & durability
  • Fish & Plant friendly.
Soil Conditions should be taken into consideration when choosing a membrane for a lake liner. When installing a  liner we can provide a geotextile to protect against sharp or angular stones underneath or on top of the membrane and protection is provided if soils are going to be placed on top of the membrane.
